Answer:

A work in one day is 1/6

B work in one day is 1/10

both work in one day is 1/6 + 1/10 = 16/60

they complete work in two days is 2*(16/60) = 16/30

work remaining is 1 - 16/30 = 14/30

A complete 14/60 work in (14/30)*6 = 14/5

so A takes 2.8 days more to complete remaining work.
