A takes a golden ring from a goldsmith for showing it to his wife but does not return it to the goldsmith. A retains it against the debt due to him from the goldsmith. Has a committed any offence? Answer by giving reasons.

ITS not ethically justified to take someone's thing and not return on time.

But  if he clears the debt then is not an offence.

A SHOULD EITHER RETURN THE RING OR PAY FOR IT.IF HE DOES NOT DO THAT ITS  CRIME BECOZ THAT WAY THE GOLDSMITH WOULD SUFFER A LOSS, IT WOULD BE ALMOST EQUAL TO THEFT
