A and B can finish a work together in 12 days, and B and C together in 16 days. If A alone works for 5 days and then B alone continues for 7 days, then remaining work is done by C in 13 days. In how many days can C alone finish the complete work?

Total work = 48 unit

efficiency of a+b =4 ————-(1)

efficiency of b+c =3 ————-(2)

According to question

5a +7b +13c = 48

now using 1 and 2 equation

5a+ 7(4-a) +13(a-1) =48

11a =33

a=3 , b =1 , c = 2

Time taken by C = 48/2 =24 days

Hey dude this is similar example for your question. Hope this will help you... ✌
