olume of cuboid =  Area of base x Height = (length x breadth) x height = (5 x 5) x 12 = 25 x 14 = 350 cm3 .

In second case circular base of radius 3.5cm and of height 12cm.

It is like a cylinder with base radius r = 3.5cm and length = 12 cm

Volume of cylinder = Area of Base * Height = πr2h = (22/7) x 3.5 x 3.5 x 12  = 462 cm3 .

Since volume of second container is more , so it has more capacity and it is 462 cm3 .
