A tall tree is transpiring rapidly. It will not show root pressure and water movement.

Explanation:

The pressure which is developed in root region due to accumulation of water in the root is known as root pressure. The root pressure is not shown by tall rapid growing trees because the normal value of root pressure ranges from 2-5 atmospheres but for tall trees it demand 20-30 atmosphere. Other reason for non-showing of root pressure is in tall and rapidly transpiring trees, a negative pressure develops.
