The root pressure is not shown by tall rapid growing trees because the normal value of root pressure ranges from 2-5 atmospheres but for tall trees it demand 20-30 atmosphere. Other reason for non-showing of root pressure is in tall and rapidly transpiring trees, a negative pressure develops.
