Total capacity of the tank = 200 litres.

40% of the total capacity = 200*40/100 = 80 litres.

We required fill it upto to 75%. So, 75% of the total capacity of the tank = 200*75/100 = 150 litres.

Therefore, amount of water to be put in the tank its desired amount is 150-80 = 70 liters.

70 litre answer.
