Well, .75 * 52 will give you the answer but what if you don’t have a phone or calculator or computer handy? I know that’s a scary thought but it does happen!

It’s pretty difficult to figure .75 * 52 in your head so try this:

Split 52 in half which gives you 26 (which is 1/2 or 2/4 of 52)

Split 26 in half which gives you 13 (which is 1/2 of 26 or 1/4 of 52)

Add 26 and 13 which gives you 39 (2/4 plus 1/4 is 3/4)

If you’re like me and grew up without calculators or computers, my mind just goes 52 26 13 39
