A tank contain 60000 cu.m of water .if the length and breadth are 50m and 40m respectively ,find its depeth​

Let

the breadth of the tank be b m.

Given:

Length

(l)=2.5 m  & depth (h)

of tank =10 m &

Capacity

of cuboidal tank=Volume of cuboidal tank=50000 L

=

50000 L= (50000/1000) m³= 50m³

 

Volume

of cuboidal tank= 50 m³

 

[

1 L=1/1000 m³]

Volume

of cuboidal tank= l×b×h

50=

2.5×b×10

b=50/25=2

b=2m

Hence, the breadth of the cuboidal

tank is 2 m.

50×40×h=60000

h=60000/50×40
