Given:-

  • A tank contains 75000 litres water.
  • Length = 20m
  • Breadth = 15m

To Find:-

  • Height = ?

Solution:-

Firstly,we will change litres into centimeters

 \:  \:  \sf \: volume \: of \: tank = 75000litres \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \:  = 75000 \times 1000 {cm}^{3}

Now convert metre into centimeters

 \:  \:  \sf \: length = 20m \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \sf \:  = 2000cm \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: breadth = 15m \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \sf \:  = 1500cm

Now we will find height of the tank

 \:  \:  \sf \therefore \: height \: of \: the \: tank =  \frac{volume \: of \: the \:tank }{l \times b}

Now substitute the values,

 \:  \:  \sf \: height \: of \: the \: tank =  \frac{75000 \times 1000}{2000 \times 1500}  \\  \\  \:  \: \sf \:  = 25cm =  \frac{25}{100} m \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \:  =  \frac{1}{4} m

Therefore, height of the tank is 1/4m.

Given :-

  • A tank contains 75000 litres water.
  • Length of tank = 20m
  • Breadth of tank = 15m

To Find :-

  • Height of the tank

Solution :-

Firstly,we will change litres into centimeters

:\implies\sf Volume \: of \: tank = 75000litres \\

:\implies\sf75000 \times 1000 {cm}^{3} \\

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Now convert Length of tank into centimeters

 \longrightarrow\sf  Length = 20m = 2000cm \\

\longrightarrow\sf \: breadth = 15m = 1500cm \\

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Now we will find height of the tank

\large \red \bigstar \: \boxed{ \green{\bf Volume \:of\:tank= L\times B \times H }} \\

Now substitute the values,

\longmapsto\sf \: Height \: of \: the \: tank = \frac{75000 \times 1000}{2000 \times 1500} \\

\longmapsto\sf \: 25cm = \frac{25}{100} m \\

\longmapsto\sf \: \frac{1}{4} m\\

Therefore, height of the tank is 1/4m.
