Solution :-

Tank contains 975L 800ml water.

Let us convert this into ml.

We know 1L = 1000ml

So, 975 = 975×1000ml

⠀⠀⠀=97500ml

↣975000+800 = 97500ml → This is the amount tank contains

↣Jug can hold, 3L500ml ⇢ 3×1000+500

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 3000+500

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⇢3500ml

No. of jugs can be filled = Tank capacity

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀_____________

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One jug capacity

 { \large{ \sf \implies \frac{975800}{3500}  =  \frac{975 {\cancel0}{ \cancel0}}{35{ \cancel0}{ \cancel0}} }}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⇢278.8

So, Total 278 jugs can be filled completely and 279th jug can't be filled completely, only 0.8 parts of jug can be filled.

⇢No. of total jugs can be filled = 278
