It contains 24750 liters of water

Step-by-step explanation:

A tank has a shape of a hemisphere attached to the base of a cylinder.

Radius of hemisphere = 1.5 m

Height of tank = 2.5 m

Height of cylinder = Height of tank - Height of hemisphere = 2.5 - 1.5 = 1 m

Volume of tank = Volume of hemisphere + Volume of cylinder

Volume of tank =\frac{2}{3} \pi r^3 + \pi r^2 h

Volume of tank = \frac{2}{3} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 1.5^3 + \frac{22}{7} \times 1.5^2 \times 2.5=24.75 m^3

1 cubic m = 1000 liters

24.75 cubic m = 24.75 \times 1000 = 24750 liters

Hence It contains 24750 liters of water
