A tank holds 126 litre of water at present it is 35% of 4 how many litres of water must be put into it so that it is 60% full

Let the tank capacity be x

Therefore 35%ofx=126

35x=126*100

x=12600/35=360litres

therefore 60%of360=216.

Therfore the tank needs to be filled up with 216-126=90 more litres to make it 60% full
