a tank is 1/12 filled with water. raman added more water to fill a further 2/3 of the tank. what fraction of water must be poured out so that the tank is half full

Answer:

A tanj filled with water = 1/12

Water added more by Raman = 2/3

So, the fraction that water must be pourd is = 1/12-2/3 = 7/12
