Given that :-

Length of tank = 20m

breadth of tank = 15 m

height of tank = 4m

Now , we have to find the area of four walls as well as the area of base .

That means , we have to find :-

Lateral surface area + area of base .

So ,

2 ( l + b ) * h + lb

By putting value of l , b and h , we get ,

2 ( 20 + 15 ) * 4 + 20 * 15

= 8 * 35 + 300

= 280 + 300

= 580 m² .

Now ,

Cost of 1m² = Rs 45.50

Cost of 580 m² = Rs ( 45.50 * 580 )

= Rs 26390 ( by calculating ) .

Step-by-step explanation:

4 walls + floor = LSA + area of base

= 2(l+b)h + lb

= 2(20+15)4 + (20×15)

= 280 + 300

= 580 m²

Area of 4 walls and floor is 580 m²

Cost

1 m² = 50 Rs.

580 m² = 580 × 50

= 29000

The cost is 29000 Rs.
