Let us assume that tank total water the tank can is x Liters.

Then the equation we get from the problem:

3/5 of x + 50 = x

3X + 250 / 5 = x

3x - 5x = -250

- 2x = -250

x = 250/2 = 125 Liters.

Ans: 125 Liters

Answer:

125 litre

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total litre that the tank can hold be x

x-3x/5= 50l

5x/5-3x/5= 50 litre

2x/5= 50 litre

x= 50*5/2 litre

x= 25*5 litre

x= 125 litre
