A tank is 3/5 full of water.
It means that 2/5 of tank is still empty.
To fill the tank completely, 50 litres of water is needed.

So, we can say that,
To fill the 2/5 of tank, 50 litres of water is neede.

So,
2/5 × Capacity of tank = 50
Capacity of tank = 50 × 5/2
Capacity of tank = 250 / 2
Capacity of tank = 125.

So, tank can hold 125 litres of water.

Hope it helps !! ;-)
