A tank is 4m by 300cm by 1m. Find the volume of water in litre.​

It looks like the OPer wants us to guess that the tank is rectangular, the dimensions given are the effective tank size (ie, it does not have uncommitted and undeclared orifices etc), that the tank is rigid enough that the volume will remain constant, or that the dimensions are those after filling, and that the top is horizontal. That last consideration would be relevant to a liquid, but not necessarily a gas.

The volume is clearly 6 m³, by inspection. Converting that from SI into litres, is 6000 L on the basis that a litre is a dm³ (in SI), and there are a 1000 of ’em in a m³.
