Question :

A tank is 8 m long, 6 m broad and 2 m high. How much water can it contain ?

Answer :

Length = 8 m

Breadth = 6 m

Height = 2 m

----------------------

☆ Therefore, Its volume = length x breadth x height = ( 8 × 6 × 2 ) m³ = 96 m³

We know that 1m³ = 1000 L

Now, 96 m³ = 96 x 1000 L = 96000 L

--------------

♣ Therefore, the tank can store { \underline\textbf{96000 L}} of water.

\large\bf{Hey\:mate\:here\:is\:ur\: answer:}

length \: of \: tank \: = 8m \\ breadth \: of \: tank \: = 6m \\ height \: of \: tank \: = 2m \\ water \: it \: can \: contain \: \\ = its \: volume \: \\ = l.b.h \: \\ = 8 \times 6 \times 2 \\ = 96 {m}^{3}

As we know 1 m³ = 1000 litres

So, Water holding capacity of tank in litres = 96 × 1000 = 96000 litres
