A tank is filled by a pipe in 18 hours and emptied by another pipe in 12 hour. How long will it take to empty the full tank, if both the pipes are kept open simultaneously.

The tank will not get empty because one pipe is for filing and other is for empting. If both the pipe is opened simultaneously the tank will be getting filed as well as empty. So the tank will not get empty.
