A tank is filled with 149 1/2 litres of water. How many buckets of water with a capacity of 6 1/2 litres can be taken from the tank.

Water in the tank/capacity of each bucket= no of buckets

=149 1/2÷6 1/2

=299/2 ÷ 13/2

=299/13

=23

Therefore 23 buckets of water can be taken out from the tank
