A tank is filled with water is of upto 1m height. Calculate the pressure exerted on the bottom of the tank.
(Acceleration due to Gravity = 9.8 m/s2, Density of water = 1000 kg / m3)

\bigstar Given:-      

  • Acceleration due to Gravity = 9.8 m/s2
  • Density of water = 1000 kg / m3,  

\bigstar To find:-    

  • The pressure exerted on the bottom of the tank.

\bigstar Solution:-      

→ Pressure = ρ × g × h

→ Pressure = 1000 × 9.8 × 1

→ Pressure = 9800 Pascal

. ° . Thus the pressure exerted on the bottom of the tank is 9800 pascal.
