A tank is made of metal sheets. Its internal length,breath and height are 2.5m,and 2m respectively. Find the cost of painting the inside of the tank at the rate of Rs2.50 per square meter

Length=8 m,Breadth=6 m,Height=3 m

We know,

LSA=2(l+b)×h

LSA=2×14×3=84 m2

Therefore, cost of painting = 84×60=Rs.5040.
