A tank measures 2 m in length, 1.6 m in width and 1 m in depth. Water is there upto 0.4 m height
Bricks measuring 25 cm x 14 cm x 10 cm are put into tank so that the water may come up to the

length of water tank =4m

Breadth =2m

height =50cm=10050 m

Volume of tank =l×b×h

=4×2×10050

=4cu.m

∴ Volume of water tank =4cu.m

1cu.m=1000litre 

4cu.m=(4×1000)

=4000 litre water can be stored in tank.
