Given condition ⇒

Length of the tank = 3 m.

Breadth of the tank = 2 m.

Height of the tank = 2 m.

∴ Volume of the tank = length × Breadth × Height

= 3 × 2 × 2

= 12 m³

Now, The maximum amount of the water that can be filled in that will be equal to the volume of its.

∴ Maximum amount of the water stored in it = 12 m³

= 12 × 1000 litres.

= 12,000 litres.

Hence, the litres of water stored in the tank in Gattu's bunglow is 12,000 litres.

Hope it helps.

Acc to the ques, a tank measuring 3 m x 2 m x 2 m was made to store water in Gattu's bunglow.

We are asked to find how many litres of water can be stored in it.

To find that we have to calculate the tank's volume.

Since the tank is cuboidal in shape so its volume can be computed as follow:

Volume = 3 x 2 x 2 = 12m³.

Therefore, the tank can store 12m³ of water.

But we have to find that in litres.

we know 1 m³ = 1000 L.

or, 12m³ of water = 12000 L of water.

Therefore, the tank can store 12000 L of water.
