SOLUTION :

Given :

Length of a cuboidal tank(l) = 3 m

Breadth of a cuboidal tank(b) = 2 m

Height of a cuboidal tank (h) = 2 m

Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

Volume of cuboidal tank = 3 × 2 × 2 = 12 m³

12 m³ = 12× 1000 = 12000 litres

[1 m³ = 1000 litres]

Capacity of cuboidal tank = 12000 litres

Hence, 12,000 litres of water can be stored in the tank in Gattu's bunglow.

Hi ,

Dimensions of the tank :

Length ( l ) = 3 m ,

Breadth ( b ) = 2 m

Height ( h ) = 2 m

Volume of the tank = V

V = l × b × h

V = 3 m × 2 m × 2 m

V = 12 m³

V = 12 × 1000 liters

[ Since 1 m³ = 1000 liters ]

V = 12000 liters

Therefore ,

Capacity of the Tank = 12000 liters

I hope this helps you.
