AnswEr :

  • Length = 8 m = 800 cm
  • Breadth = 6 m = 600 cm
  • Height = 50 cm

Volume of the water in Tank :

↠ Volume = Length × Breadth × Height

↠ Volume = 800 cm × 600 cm × 50 cm

↠ Volume = 24,000,000 cm³

  • (1000 cm³ = 1 litre), Dividing it by 1000 to change it into litre.

Volume = 24,000 litres

Amount of water each family get :

⇒ Volume = Amount × Families

⇒ 24,000 litres = Amount × 24

  • Dividing both term by 24

Amount = 1,000 litres

Hence, Each Family will get 1,000 litres.

Answer:

1000 litres

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of tank=(8*100)cm

                        =800cm

Breadth of tank=(6*100)cm

                          =600cm

Height of tank=50cm

Thus, Volume of tank=800cm*600cm*50cm

                                     =24000000 cu.cm

Since, 1000 cu.cm=1 litre

Thus, 24000000 cu.cm=24000 litre

Amount of water supplied to 24 families= (24000/24) litres

                                                                   =1000 litres (Ans)
