Pressure at the bottom of the tank(P)
= pressure by water level + pressure by the oil
= h 1 d1 g + h2 d2 g
Given that
h1 = h2 = 2.5m = 250 cm
d1 = 1 g/cm3
d 2 = 0.85 g/cm3
g = 981 m/s2
P = 981(1*250 + 0.85*250)
=> P = 981*250*1.85
=> P = 453712.5 dyn/cm2
