Step-by-step explanation:

we use these two formule

capacity of a container= Base area * height of container

volume of a container = base area * height of water level

given a tank with. square base of side 150 cm and height is 80cm

1.time take to fill up water to a height of 16cm

volume = base area * height of water level

volume = 150*150*16

volume = 360000

volume = 360 liters

it takes 1 min to full 20 liters of water

so it takes 18 min to fill up 360 liters of water i.e 16 cm height..

we can do cross multiplication

20-----1

360----?

(360*1)/20= 18

2. capacity = base area*height

capacity = 150*150*80

capacity = 1800000

capacity = 1800 liters

it takes 1 min to fill 20 liters of water.

so it take 90 min to fill 1800 liters of water..

we can say by cross multiplication

20--- 1

1800----?

(1800*1)/20 = 90

hope this will help you

good day
