Efficiency of tape = 1/6 part of the cistern per hr

No of hrs taken in filling 1/2 part of cistern = 1/2*6 = 3 hrs

Efficiency of three more similar taps taken together = 3*1/6 = 1/2 part of the cistern per hr

Effective efficiency of the system = 1/6 + 1/2 = 4/6 = 2/3 part of the cistern per hr

Time taken to fill the remaining 1/2 part of cistern = 1/2*3/2 = 3/4 hr
