Given:

A target is distributed between dealer A, B, C, and D in the proportion of 5: 2:4:3.

To find:

Now if C gets Rs 10000 more than D what is B's share?

Solution:

Let "x" be the common factor.

So, we get,

A's share = 5x

B's share = 2x

C's share = 4x

D's share = 3x

C gets Rs 10000 more than D

⇒ 4x = 10000 + 3x

⇒ 4x - 3x = 10000

∴ x = 10000

Therefore, B's share = 2x = 2 × 10000 = Rs. 20000
