On Saturday :

No of litres of petrol filled, L1 = 45 litres

Cost of petrol = Rs 72 / L

Total cost on saturday = 72 × 45 = Rs 3240

On Sunday :

No of litres of petrol filled, L2 = 55 litres

Cost of petrol = Rs 72 / L

Total cost on sunday = 72 × 55 = Rs 3960

Total expenditure on petrol = Rs 3240 + Rs 3960

= Rs 7200
