Let total distance travelled be x km

Total money be Rs y

For first km, the fare will be = Rs 10

For the subsequent distance, the fare will be = Rs 6( x - 1)

According to question,

Rs 10 + Rs 6(x - 1) = Rs y

10 + 6x - 6 = y

6x + 4 = y

6x - y + 4 = 0
