# Answer-

54kg and 30kg respectively.

# Solution-

Blending is done in the ratio of cost of tea.

Thus blending will be in the ratio 234:130 = 9:5.

Consider x as common multiplier.

Total weight= 9x+5x = 14x

But given weight = 84kg.

Hence 14x=84

x=84/14

x=6.

Hence

Weight of tea with price 234 will be 9x=9×6=54kg.

Weight of tea with price 130 will be 5x=5×6=30kg.

Answer:

54 kg of the tea that cost Rs 234 per kg

30 kg of the tea that cost 130 kg.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let A be the tea that cost Rs 234 per kg

and B be the tea that cost Rs 130 per kg

Find the ratio of their cost:

A : B = 234 : 130

Simplify by dividing by 26:

A : B = 9 : 5

Define x:

Let x be the constant ratio

A : B = 9x : 5x

Solve x:

Given that the mixture is 84 kg

9x + 5x = 84

14x = 84

x = 6 kg

Find the weight of each variety of tea:

A = 9 x 6 = 54 kg

B = 5 x 6 = 30 kg

Answer: 54 kg of the tea that cost Rs 234 per kg and 30 kg of the tea that cost 130 kg.
