a tea set was bought for Rs.528 after getting a discount of 12%on its marked price. find the marked price of the tea set?

Solution :
   Let the marked price of tea set be Rs  =  X
  Therefore ,
     MArked Price - Discount on MArked Price = 528
       X - 12/100 *X = 528
       100 X - 12 X / 100 = 528
       88X = 528*100
       X = 52800 / 88
       X = 600

Hence MArked Price of the Tea Set  is RS 600 .

     =x-(12x/100)
     =88x/100

ATP 
88x/100=528
x=(528/88)×100
  =6×100
  =600
