A tea - stall owner used 20mL of milk to make one cup of tea . He bought 12 L of milk and made 500 cups of tea . How much milk was he left with????​

To find the milk which is left first we multiply 500cups by 20mL.So,

500×20=10000mL

Then, we convert 12L into mL. So,

1L=1000mL

12×1000mL=12000mL

Now we subtract to get how much milk is left. So,

12000-10000mL

=2000mL

for one cup of tea the tea stall owner uses 20 ml of milk

milk used for 500 cups of tea =20×500 ml
=10000 ml

12 L =12000 ml

milk left =12000-10000=2000 ml

tea stall owner is left with 2 litres or 2000 ml
of milk
