A teacher conducted an experiment to see if she was more likely to call on boys or girls in class. One day she recorded the number of times she called on boys in class and the number of times she called on girls in class. She found that out of 30 questions she asked, she called on girls 8 times.

To see if the results were typical she also ran 50 simulations and created a dotplot of the number of times a girl was called on. Were her results typical? Explain.

Answer: A

Step-by-step explanation:

It was not typical since she is also a female but it had nothing to do with genders only which student was closer and if the teacher is female it’s more likely for a female student to be closer to her eye view while boys may be in the back so 23 shows a typical expectation.
