Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends,

We all know that our English teacher madam Sumitra Karnik is soon going to retire from our school. I am here to thank her for whatever she has done so that we would excel. She is now going to retire but her teachings, values and her lessons will always remain in the classes and corridoors of the school. We all will never forget her selfless attitude and her contribution to this temple of knowledge. I am and will always be in awe of her quantum of knowledge which I think that I would never be able to match.

I really regret that you are going to retire now. I hadn’t thought this before even in my bitterest nightmares. But alas! The unfortunate day has come. We will always follow your path of justice , equality and truth and fight against racism.

I hope that you never leave teaching as a profession in your retired life. You have made our childhood memorable and we thank you for thatfrom the bottom of our heart. You have taught everyone selflessly. Even if you leave this school (Parle tilak Vidyalaya) your name will always be spoken of oftenly as an inspiring personality.

You have always remained the most favourite and I believe that your reputation in this school never ends. We wish you all the very best madam for your retired life. And remember… if everyone shows their backs at you, your beloved students would be their for you; just like you were beside us in our difficult times………
