The pH value of water content is given as 12.

This value is actually incorrect.

It is because the water content is neutral.

Hence, the pH value is seven.

It is significant to know that the pH value is an excellent indicator of if the water is soft or hard.

The exact pH value of water is 7.

Commonly, water with the pH value lower than seven is considered as acidic.
