\sf\large\underline{Given:}

\tt{\implies Number\:_{(math\:books)}=42}

\tt{\implies Number\:_{(Eng\:books)}=42}

\tt{\implies Cost\:_{(a\:math\:book)}=Rs.52}

\tt{\implies Cost\:_{(a\:Eng\:book)}=Rs.48}

\sf\large\underline{To\: Find:}

\rm{\implies Total\:_{(amount\: paid\:by\: teacher)}=?}

\sf\large\underline{Solution:}

  • At first calculate calculate the total amount of purchasing math and Eng book than sum of their amount ]

\tt{\implies Amount\:_{(math\: books)}=No\:of\: books\times\:per\: book\: cost}

\tt{\implies Amount\:_{(math\: books)}=42\times\:52}

\tt{\implies Amount\:_{(math\: books)}=Rs.2184}

\tt{\implies Amount\:_{Eng\: books)}=No\:of\: books\times\:per\: book\: cost}

\tt{\implies Amount\:_{(Eng\: books)}=42\times\:48}

\tt{\implies Amount\:_{(Eng\: books)}=Rs.2016}

  • Now, calculate here total amount paid by teacher]

\tt{\implies Amount\:_{(math\: books)}+Amount\:_{(Eng\: books)}}

\tt{\implies Total\:_{(amount)}=2184+2016}

\tt{\implies Total\:_{(amount)}=Rs.4200}

\sf\large{Hence,}

\rm{\implies Total\:_{(amount\: paid\:by\: teacher)}=Rs.4200}

Solution:

No of math book =42 rate per book=52

the cost of all =42×52=>2184

No of eng books=42 rate per book=48

the cost of all=42×48=>2016

Total amount=2184+2016=>4200

therefore, total amount paid by teacher is 4200
