• ethanoic acid, boiling point 118 °C,
• chloroethanoic acid, boiling point 190 °C.

Answer:

b) (i) ethanoic acid will be collected first as it has lower boiling point 118°C

(ii) when the temperature starts growing above 118°C

Teacher will come to know that all this liquid has been collected.

Blue litmus will turn Red
