A teacher tells the class that the highest marks obtained by a student in the class is twice the lowest marks plus 7. What is the lowest score if hoghest mark is 37?​

Let the lowest score be x.

According to question,

2x + 7 = 37

=> 2x = 37 - 7

=> 2x = 30

=> x = 30 ÷ 2

=> x = 15

Thus, the lowest marks obtained is 15.
