when zinc granules is added to the copper sulphate solution a new compound is formed which is called zinc sulphate and copper remains settle at the bottom of the solution and thus displacement reaction occur because zinc is more reactive than copper and thus displaced copper in reaction
Zn + CuSO4 —— ZnSO4+Cu
the solution remains colurless ZnSO4 remains coluress and the brown coloured metal copper settle down at the bottom and also the blue color of the copper sulphate disappear in the solution
Zn + CuSO4 —— ZnSO4+Cu
the solution remains colurless ZnSO4 remains coluress and the brown coloured metal copper settle down at the bottom and also the blue color of the copper sulphate disappear in the solution
