The technique used to depict the performance  in a tabular form that has two dimensions namely actual and predicted sets of data is called performance metrics. It is a table which have two dimensions ("Actual" and "Predicted"), and various sets of classes in both of the dimensions. The main thing is that the actual one is the column one and the one which have predictions is the row.

Confusion matrix.

The confusion matrix is a table having two dimensions i.e. actual and predicted.

Along with a sets of classes in both the dimensions.

Hence, a technique used to depict the performance in a tabular form that has 2 dimensions namely actual and predicted sets of data is called confusion matrix.

You will know it only when you are not confused.
