Poem A Teenager’s Prayer as the title is suggests is a prayer of teenager to God to help him/her in many ways.

In the first stanza the poet begins by saying that each new day will bring new beginnings; and he/she will have to make decisions as to which road he/she must walk on.

In the second stanza the poet talks about two roads of life. One rod leads to success; and the other takes to failure and distress.

In the third stanza the poet prays to God to open his/her eyes so that he/she can clearly see without bias; he/she also prays to God to give him/her courage to do the right thing. He/she also prays to God to bring out the best in him/her.

The poet tells the condition of the teenager's mind. This is a very important age in everyone's lifestyles because; it decides the future of the person.

If they go on the proper path, it makes their lifestyles better, successful, and easy. But, if they are going on the wrong path, it is very challenging to deliver them back to the right path. They are continually keen to comprehend greater and do the new matters.

In that eagerness once in a while they would possibly go on the wrong path.
