A television (65W), a refrigerator (1.2KW),an electric kettle (650KW),and 10 lamps (40W) each are connected in series in a house. How much will it cost to switch on all the appliances for 24 hours if the cost of electricity is 15 dollars per KWh

firstly we convert all power in to same unit watt convert into killo watt so for tv 0.065kw,freez 1.2kw, electric kettle 650kw, lamp if 1 lamp power is 40 w so for 10 400 w then 0.4 kw all add together 650+1.2+0.065+0.4=651.665 kw and for electricity cunsuption for 24 hr so 651.665×24=15639.96 kwh and 1 unit = 1kwh so 15639.96×15=234599.4 dollar
