Answer:

S. P. of television = ₹ 12000, Loss = 20%

if C. P. of television is ₹ 100, then S. P. of television = ₹ 80

When S. P. = ₹ 80, C.P. = ₹ 100

So, when S.P. = ₹ 12000, C.P. = ₹ [100/80×12000]

= ₹ 15000

S.P. of refrigerator = ₹ 12000,Gain = 20%

if C.P. of refrigerator = ₹ 100 then S.P. of refrigerator = ₹ 120

when S.P. = ₹ 120,C.P = [100/120×12000] = ₹ 10000

Total S.P. = ₹ 12000 + ₹ 12000 = ₹ 24000

Total C.P. = ₹ 15000 + ₹ 10000= ₹ 25000

since C.P.>S.P., Loss = C.P. - S.P. = ₹ 25000 - ₹ 24000 = ₹ 1000

Loss% = Loss/C.P.× = [1000/25000×100]% = 4%

Ans = 4%
