The mixed doubles can be arranged in 108 ways.

Given:

Total number of boys = 12

Total number of girls = 9

To find:

In how many ways can a mixed double match be arranged?

Solution:

For the first team member which is the boy,

Total possibilities = 12

Similarly

For the second team member which is the girl -

Total possibilities = 9

The arrangement as to how both boys and girls can be arranged -

Possibility of boys x Possibility of girls

= 12 x. 9

= 108

Answer: The mixed doubles can be arranged in 108 ways.
