The tennis court for singles play has an area of

Area = 78 * 27

Area = 2106 ft^2

The tennis court for doubles play has an area of

Area = 78 * (27 + 9)

Area = 78 * 36

Area = 2808 ft^2

= 2808 - 2106

= 702 ft^2

length of double court will be 78 ft.

width of double court = 25+9

=34ft.

ar ( of double court) =l*b

=78×34

=2652ft^2

area of the single court =78*25
=1950ft.^2

difference of area =2652-1950
=702ft^2
