Step By Step Explanation:-

Given,

Cylinder,
Diameter of the cylinder=4.2m

Radius of the cylinder=4.2/2
=2.1m
Height of the cylinder=4m

CSA of the cylinder=2πrh
=2×22/7×2.1×4
=52.8m2

Volume of the cylinder=πr2h
=22/7×2.1×2.1×4
=55.44m3

Cone,
Radius of the cone =2.1m [given base of cone= base of cylinder]

Height of the cone=2.8m

l2=r2+h2
l=√2.1×2.1+2.8×2.8
l=3.5

CSA of cone=πrl [l is slant height of the cone]
=22/7×2.1×3.5
=23.1m2

Volume of the cone=1/3πr2H
=1/3×22/7×2.1×2.1×2.8
=12.936m3

Total capacity of the tent =Volume of the cone+Volume of the cylinder
=12.936+55.44
=68.376m3

Total CSA of the tent =CSA of Cone+ CSA of cylinder
=23.1+52.8
=75.9m2

Cost =75.9× 100
=Rs7590
