CSA of cylinder = 2πrh = (2×227×14×3)m2(2×227×14×3)m2 = 264m2 CSA of cone = πrl

where l = slant height l=r2+h2−−−−−−√=142+(10.5)2−−−−−−−−−−√l=r2+h2=142+(10.5)2

m =196+110.25−−−−−−−−−−

√m=306.25−−−−−

√=196+110.25m=306.25 m = 1705 m

∴ CSA of cone = (227×14×17.5)(227×14×17.5) m = 770m2

∴ Cost of painting = Rs. 2 × Total CSA = Rs.2 × (264 + 770) = Rs. [2 × 1034] = 2068
